IP network camera connection with IR beam system and siren strobe
IP network camera is designed with input/output interface. All relay contact N/C or N/O devices such as wired beam or sensors can be connected as input device. Wired siren strobe can be connected as output device. So, IP network camera with intrusion detection system and alarm warning system work as integration CCTV surveillance remote monitoring system for home security and business safety surveillance equipment.
How to connect and configure the IP network alarm and surveillance system?
We use wired infrared break beam sensor as an example of input device. If using wireless infrared beam sensor, need to add wireless to wired convertor to transfer wireless alarm signal to wired alarm signal.
1. Connect IP network camera to router via RJ45 network cable.
2. Connect wired infrared beam sensor (or wireless to wired convertor) to IP network camera N/C or N/O interface.
3. Connect wired siren strobe to IP network camera output interface.
Power on router, IP network camera, wired or wireless infrared beam sensor.
4. APP configuration
Download the IP network camera app and enter into setting. On detectors menu under setting, you can find the detector wired. Rename the detector, enable it, set arm/disarm time etc.
5. Test the IP network surveillance system. Going through the beam sensor protected area to trigger the break beam sensor, the strobe will light on. IP network camera app will pop up and alarm message is shown. Enter into monitor menu, the alarm spot picture will show up. If alarm receiving email is set, the picture will be sent to email box.
