alarm system knowledge

1. What is alarm system?
The alarm system is a safety system with all kinds of functional detectors to protect the surrounding, space, environment and people of the defense area.
2. What is detector?
The detector will sense motion, smoke etc. as physical and chemical volume change and convert it to the current, pulse and other signals to push the RF circuit to send out alarm signal.
3. What is passive infrared detector
The passive infrared detector is based on the passive absorption of thermal energy when the animal’s body emits infrared thermal energy to alarm. The detector itself does not emit infrared.
4. What is alarm host (or alarm panel)
The alarm host is the center of the alarm system. It is used to receive the alarm signal from the detector and give timely feedback. After receiving the alarm signal, the host will drive the high decibel alarm sounder and use the network to send alarm signal to mobile and other device.
5. What is emitting distance?
The emitting distance means the farthest distance that the wireless alarmsignal is transmitted in the form of electromagnetic wave after alarm being triggered.
6. What is sensitivity?
Sensitivity refers to the distance of detection and the speed of response when the detector is triggered. If the sensitivity is high, it can detect a long distance object from the detector. Otherwise, it can only detect a relative short distance object from the detector.
7. What is gas detector?
Gas detector is installed in kitchen room to detect gas leakage. It will trigger solenoid valve to shut off gas source and make loud sound alarm when gas leakage is detected.
8. What is door contact?
The door magnetic detector is used to sense the opening and closing of doors and windows. There are wooden door magnetic contact, metal door magnetic contact and roller shutter door magnetic contact. It will sense the door open status and send alarm.
9. What is smoke detector?
Smoke detector is used for home, business, office to detect early fire.
